Zara Taylor is a ceramicist and traditional Chinese brush painter, based in Greenwich. She has been hand building vessels, forms and wall plaques for 20 years after falling in love with the medium at Greenwich Community College ( now LSEC) . More recently taking the plunge and trying to master the throwing wheel.
Zara is also currently Chair of the London Chinese Brush Painters Group. Combining both passions much of my ceramics practice includes hand painted or carved Chinese subjects and motifs with underglazes and oxides.
